Crossing the Pond

So I was named Employee of the Year in my company. For this I got a $1500 travel voucher to anywhere I want to go. Since my cousin lives in Spain, I decided to spend a couple of weeks in Europe next February.

Having said that, There is no way that I'm spending 2 weeks in the south of Spain and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on were else I should go.

I was hopping to find some places here and there that I can spend 2-3 days and stay in Hostels.

Well, if you are in Spain - you can't go home without a couple of days in Barcelona.  My favourite European city by a long shot.  Madrid is ok, but Barca is great.

What are you into?   Nightlife, galleries museums, architecture?  Paris and London are also 2 great destinations. or you could head further north to Germany. It really depends what you are looking for. And how far from Spain you are willing to travel.

Feb isn't really a great month for weather over here - its still pretty cold and high likelihood of rain.  But you could get lucky.

Lappland maybe. Othrwise Finland, or whole Scandinavia, is useless in February.

Austria is a small but beautiful country near germany. You could go there and on your way from the US you could take some UGCs with you and give them to me.
