I have found a solution for the lack of manual clips on the UGCs.

I found these adhesive (no glue needed!!) wire clips at Home Depot and they work like a charm.

Here is what it looks like:

----------- EDIT LINE 1 -----------

I couldn't figure out how to get the picture to show.

Here is a link to it:

The tabs were $4 for 10 of them but I'm sure they can be found in a higher volume for a lower unit price.

Also it would be possible to position a bottom clip as well if you aren't using dust covers.

If using a dust cover the bottom clip will hit the cover and prevent the cover from closing.

Over all I like it!

3 things:

1: Double posting s is a no no, let alone quadruple posting!
2: You can store NES manual in the dust cover, also safer.
3: Clips are awesome for SNES and N64. No use wirth UGC but great with 27mm DVD cases.

1.  I apologize for all the posts.  Now I know how to get pics in at least :)

2.  I had actually been storing the manuals in the dust covers, however I like the look of seeing both the cartridge and the manual when
     I  open the cases up

3.  I'm planning to go with the DVD cases for my SNES and N64 games as I agree .. the clips are awesome.

I've already got about 200 UGC's modded for NES games so I won't bother switching now but DVD cases are definately the way to go for SNES and N64 provided I can find them at a reasonable price including shipping to Canada.

I'm still bit worried about using one manual clip.
It acts as a pivot point slowly boring a hole to the manual as you move the case.

But do show us your collection once it's cased.

Nice find.

Without dust covers the lower clip fits?

Would be really great for manual storage especially for SNES and Mega Drive. Could be a problem when manuals are thicker though.

I have actually ruined a few UGC's beause the manuals were too thick when I placed them on the outside AND the UGC's didnt fix properly on the shelf.  A few were bulged over to a side

The lower clip will fit if no dust cover is used.  You just have to take care in how You space them. It actually looks really nice, but I plan to use dust covers.

The clips hold pretty tight though.  The manuals don't move too much in just the one clip.  It's the same has putting GBA manuals in a DS case.  The manual is too small to use both clips if I remember correctly.

It could get costly though as it was $4 for 10 clips and I can't seem to find them in a larger lot to get the unit price down.  They are super convenient though because they don't require glueing as You just peel off a layer and they stick right to the plastic.

Least in Europe GBA manuals are bigger in most cases.

GB and GBC are smaller.
