Twisted - The Game Show

Totally redone the back (as is the case with all the 3DO stuff ive done...E.U double CD cases for the system are crap for this purpose) so it is different from the U.S version, but based on it. The VT template front is pretty accurate to the original, the Lish template aint' the size makes all the difference.
B.T.W does anyone other than myself and VT(i believe) still run a 3DO? I would be interested to find out.

I still run my 3DO.  Mostly just to show it off though.  Everytime people come over to my house they're like whats that when they see it.  I think I love it just because nobody else I know has one.  I think  my favorite game is probably Mad Dog McCree, the full motion video is just soooo bad by todays standards but it's still fun.

Grum - with theme park and road rash you've got me itching to get my hands on a 3DO (Have always been keen, but never got round to it)

How do they rate against other versions?

edit:  And any idea on the going rate for Panasonic/Goldstar systems?

I just got a 3DO in December. It was the original Panasonic one with a disc tray. Got a couple of controllers and a few games (with boxes and manuals) for $45.

I would say that the 3DO versions were pretty similar to the Playstation/Saturn ones. I really loved the soundtrack on Road Rash,i often loaded it up just to listen. Not sure on prices at the mo...i have the Panasonic version and it cost BIG money at the time but i was desperate as i had played Need for Speed and after seeing it,nothing my SNES or MD could produce compared.Being one of those oddballs who actually like FMV games like Sewer Shark and Dragons Layer, i still use it a couple of times a month as there are plenty of them to choose from. Its worth taking on board that SVHS is the best output you can get from it without a complicated mod BTW. I think the software is pretty reasonable in price but as with most systems, theres a lot of dross in there so be choosey if your going for one. And get a copy of Game Guru as its about the only way you can get into the save ram plus it lets you compact game saves, and thats a godsend. In short, i loved it when i got it and i love the way it looks and its quirky games (not the pad though...yuk) but then i like CDI/CD32 for the same reasons so... :)

Have you still got the box for the JVC ? They're pretty valuable with the packaging i believe.

Na.. I threw it away when I got the system back in '94.

Back then I didn't think I would be collecting VGs 14 years later.

Star Control 2

Anyone remember this? My absolute favourite 3DO game of all time. 30+ hours of space exploration, diplomacy and battles. Love the little Shofixti "Marsupial Samurai's" and the Yehat with the Scottish accents. Now ive forgotten a lot about it, it could be time to have another go... :D

Rebuilt back close to U.S one, messed with E.U jewel case for the front. Will have to do until someone comes up with a good scan.
