How do you check quality?
Cover is 300 DPI, art used to make the cover is atleast 300 DP. no dirt, no creases, no dust, no typos, correct serial number, correct production number, correct barcode, cover matches to exsisting covers...
and some that are hosted have poor quality how did these get approved with the high standards?
Was there a time when standards weren't so high?
Yes
Do not get me wrong I am all for high standards but in my opinion. It is really frustrating when you are trying to cover your collection and there are several gaps in the covers you have for games.
That's why I host "shadow cover project, at the moment 1/3 organized for Vertical SNES US covers
Until it's ready I link to requested covers if I / we have it.
I also list covers that will never make to the4 site for eithe being just too low quality (I too have standadrts but they are bit less strickt) or for repro games.
So as a noob I started making them from scratch. Only to realize that there is a second place to get covers form individuals who post in the forum. and Thanks to Arseen who must have a card Rolodex on who made what. And some off theses I cant tell for the darnedest why they aren't hosted here.
Thank you [blushes]

It seems low quality vs not having a cover, it would be best to take it until someone made a better one.
If low quality or near perfect covers would be accepted to the site, no-one would bother to strive for perfect.
