Ok, in trying to slim down my collections, and I thought it would be a good idea to do my games as well.

Turns out a 7mm DVD cover can fit a game and a manual fine.

Here is what I have done so far,

Windwaker, Gamecube

Red Faction, PS2

Flatout, XBOX

And here is a template I threw together using elements from existing templates for Xbox, 360, PS2, Gamecube, and Wii. I am sure a better one can be done, but for now it works for me.

Is anyone up for doing this as well?

Soon, I'll take pictures of slim covers in action.

I bought 400 slimline cases, printed out covers for them all, and within a year I have thrown out those 400 slimline cases... They were not the same and it made too much clutter IMO

For a while I was making slim covers for most of my PC games.  Right now that project is on hold till I can get my hands on more raw scans of covers that I need.  I had also considered converting the console games into slim for the ones that I could.  I might upload some of the slims I have for people to get if they want to.

if you don't mind a squished spine, I have a Photoshop script that takes a properly sized DVD cover (3240 x 2175 pix) and re sizes the spine to a 7mm slim cover.

sorry to bump an old thread but i would totally like this if you have it available.  i hate full-size dvd cases and have a bunch of slimlines but i'm not having a lot of luck with creating my own template.  thanks.
