Aside from being a humble cover creator, I'm also a musician. Over the last few years I've been slowly recording music for an album. My goal is to write, record and produce everything on the record, including playing and singing every note on it. And in that vein, I've been working on the cover, trying to create the whole thing solely in Photoshop. Here is my idea for a cover, playing on the title "Alone in Stereo," an attempt to recreate a 70's style stereo. How does it look?

idea of you making your own music, as Im making my own music on guitar with a friend of mine whos a very good drummer. Once we have something more solid to show you guys, Ill be happy to share. Untill then, Id love to see what yoy have going on. Good job one the artwork so far.

Looks good, it looks like a photo aside from the Treble, Bass and volume dials not having a shadow.

It's CJP, my initials.

It's still a work in progress. But the sad thing is, I actually have enough material for two albums. I just figured I'd concentrate on the first half, get it released, then work on the second half.

You should definitely add a "more cowbell" switch!
If you have nothing to do... Don't do it here!

But unless he's actually using a cowbell, it'll have to be switched off.

I think it looks really good so far.  What kind of music are you making?

I just thought of something. If you were to ever remix any of your music you could use the same artwork and warp certain parts to make it seem like its being pushed to it limits! For example using motion blurring for everything bouncing at max.  You could end up warping a lot of things to make it seem like its moving around and vibrating from the bass.

My style is honestly all over the place. Manly standard rock, some punk, a little metal at times, a bit of blues with a hint of prog rock. I hate to be pigeonholed into one style, which reflects my musical tastes.

I finished the front (just added the drop shadow to the knobs) and designed the rear of the booklet from scratch, again trying to recreate a stereo. How's it look?
