Just got this email from mediashelving.com:

Unfortunately, we have just had news that there was a production problem at the factory with the game cases you have on backorder.  They are not expected to come back into stock until the 1st week of December now.  Since this is longer than the anticipated wait times we originally indicated we would like to know if you would like to leave on backorder or cancel at this point?

We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,
Customer Services

And right when all these nice new NES covers are being created, too!  Ain't that a kick in the sack!  >:(

Rats! I'm still waiting to get a shipment of them. I have 100 games that need homes.

I have a bad feeling these are not coming back.  Lucky for me, I bought mad extras before this happened.  Do you guys have a Plan B?  Are there any alternatives to the UGCs?

Normally I would agree but this time maybe it is just that the factory movement is taking longer than anticipated (in china strange things can happen ;) ) and they are just making up excuses.

After all those cases are sought after products and things people buy are produced that's a matter of fact.

I agree.  In fact, if you go to mediashelving.com, the UGCs are listed as one of their most popular items, so to discontinue them would be them basically throwing money out the window.  I'm as cynical and pessimistic of a person you'd want to meet, but I would be VERY surprised if they stopped making UGCs.

If they are discontinued, however, I'm coming after you, mariocaseman.  ;D

Can anyone post some pictures of N64 and Super Nintendo games fitting in the 25-28mm spine DVD case? People say that they are the alternative to UCG's but I don't even know how that would work? So If anyone can post some pictures of games inside the DVD cases, that would be very helpful.
Thank You

I can do that when I get home.

But basicly imagine DVD case that is double width of normal.
Then rip all that is inside and put the game and manual in there.
Games sit the in the cases loose, nothing holding them in place.
You can use foam to sandwich them in place.

This first photo shows that the games fit nicel height and width wise, as well as that SNES manuals fit in them, as do NES games with the black sleeve.

Second image shows how UGC sized covers fit into the 27.5mm wide cases.
I leave 5mm or so white stripe but that is not absolutely necessary, and I think I'll start leaving that out.

lucky me I've only just now started using my UGCs. I've got plenty to last me until December or whenever they come back in stock. ;D

I have enough for everything I need except for my NES collection. To complete that I'd need at least 100 more.  I really have no problem waiting as long as they come back.
