I am totally printing out that UMK3!  I love that it have the move set on them.

Let me know how readable it is when you print it! (Pics would be nice as well)

I'd like to do one for Mortal Kombat II and some of the Street Fighter II versions as well sometime. Maybe MK1 as well.

My only thought is that I'll want to trim off a bit of each side of the inlay because having both pieces of paper in there causes the outside cover to bunch up a bit. Alternatively, if there's a good, thicker quality type of legal paper I can get, I could try printing on both sides of the paper.

I'm not sure how many of us here have access to printers capable of making double-sided prints, so perhaps we should experiment with slightly smaller dimensions for inlays. I'll take a random guess and say, oh, 3336 x 2100? That'll shave off about .05 inches off of each side.

Would be really cool to get a high resolution version of this image to use for an OOT inlay. Maps are always awesome.

Made a pair of inlays for Donkey Kong 64 and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire. I have specific art in mind for Banjo-Kazooie and Diddy Kong Racing, but I can't find high enough res pictures, so that's two more player's guides I need to track down and scan.  ::)

I printed out the SotE one and I think it looks great! Downloads HERE.

Here's a link to an inlay for Super Mario Kart, be aware though that any inlays I upload are sized for 27mm DVD cases. So you'll either need to drop them into a UGC template or just cut down the edges once you've printed it out.

I actually found the first Mario Party title screens on DeviantArt. They do have JPEG artifacts it looks like but they are at a decent resolution of 1024x768. You could pick your favorite board and use it as an inlay.

Nice! I printed out one that had some artifacting, but I think the semi-clear opacity of the UGC hides it enough.

With Azarkhel's permission, I modified his Super Mario Kart art for UGC, and fixed the flipped ? space and the L on Luigi's hat. Download HERE.

That's sweet! And it's intelligently set up so the more generic side is the side with the game. Beautifully done.

Nope , but I can see from the screen (47" Full HD) that the text is too small.

From experience I can see when the text will be un readable.

I can baarely read it from the screen when the image is full screen.

I can read it perfectly fine from a 46" HDTV.

Honestly if you haven't actually printed it then I really don't see how your input is at all useful. A screen =/= printed paper.

I don't mean to get testy or anything but it is just a bit annoying when you spend several hours on something like this that's designed to be printed out only to have someone pop up and say "oops you wasted your time I can't read it on my TV"

Fact is, I'm printing both of these tomorrow. We'll see how readable/unreadable they are then.

OK I did test prints.
With correct printer settings MK2 stayed readable.

I stand corrected.

I'll check MK3 now.

OK it too stayed readable with right settings.

Great to get some confirmation then. Thanks for the test prints.

If it's not too much to ask, what were the 'right settings'?

I told my printer to use less ink, so the edges stay extra sharp.

I usually print photo quality, but it tends to soften the edges a bit.
