For me, I only open my UGCs to play a game so I'm not worried about the cart covering a logo or part of the artwork. So going by that logic, I like the one with the bigger logo because the other one looks empty when you take the cart out.

Building on Gill35's work, I decided to make some generic "per system" UGC inlays of my own. I really liked the minimalist style of his Sega covers with just logos, so built mine with that in mind. I also did minor rearrangements to Gill35's Genesis inlay to make it line up in the modern UGC better. All of the remaining artwork is taken from Shenske's templates for their respective systems. I just resized or rearranged as necessary. For me, I like this style better than hunting for inlays/artwork for specific games. Just mass printed a bunch at Staples and threw them inside with my existing covers. Here's what I ended up with:

ever think of having the green in the center of the n64 inlay instead of the black? and nice work!

Obviously I've been working on a Super Metroid one. Want to work on a Metroid NES one as well as a Battletoads one. For Metroid there's some artwork and sprites to use on metroid-database.com but for Battletoads I can't find anything I like really. Has anyone started work on one of those? Or know of some cool artwork I could use to get started?

I kinda like this one: http://wallpoper.com/images/00/30/85/85/battletoads_00308585.png maybe flip it so cart doesn't cover most of the art.
