| 32X Scans |

I've talked an acquaintance of mine from the Sega-16 forums into sharing his collection of scans with the site. I'd say the average size of his scans are 400dpi, ~60MBs and in tiff (I think) format. Seeing as there are currently zero NTSC 32x scans on the site I think it'd be a disservice to everyone if what he ups isn't used... He said he ups them as complete (doesn't check raw) so I can't check the raw upload cue to verify they've been upped. So far he's put up Virtua Racing (66MB) and I think he's waiting to see how it turns out before upping anything else ("I hope they don't resize 'em"). |

Would be very nice to get them all on the site..... But beacuase Sega32X games where released in cardboard boxes we will resize them to fit im universal game cases.... The 32X carts fit perfectly in the UGCs so it is the best way to store those games for eternity.... :) A yes an please don't post in the request forum... It's just for requests obviously.... ;D |

Yes, I have flat packed my 32X cardboard boxes and sealed them to protect them. My carts now live in the UGC's. Velvet396..Beg your friend to upload. Why is he/she worried about resizing? Apart from admiring the art on screen, is there another practical use for box scans if they are not sized as inserts in plastic cases? This site has a very small community providing scans for classic systems and we of course cant obtain all scans alone. Some of us (eg. The Valeman) have spent large amounts of money buying boxes to complete collections of scans because of the reluctance of people to upload. Theres no reward for uploading, except the appreciation of those (OK, I'm sure the leechers have no appreciation) who need them. |
