Hi, i recently bought a copy of FF9 and the game was used, everything was right but there's this bunch of stickers at the bottom that say VOID, and i would like to remove it. i alredy have goo gone, but i was wondering if this liquid would mess up something on the cd. the sticker is a the top of cd, not a t the readable part.

thankyou.

The top of the cd is the worst place to put a sticker.... hopefully it won't remove any of the top.

Or warp the CD, like Block buster stickers do.

I think the sticker's got more chance of ruining the game. Hopefully you can get it all off.

Difficult question.

You could also try to heat the sticker up with a hair dryer so that the glue gets softer and easier to remove.
Too much heat is dangerous though.

I've had some good luck using very hot tap water. I would take a disc and leave it under for about 5mins and the stickers would come off a lot easier.

I would not do that!!!

Disc will suck water in and rust.

I find the best thing to use in a situation like this is common cooking spray (PAM seems to work best).  The only thing to be sure of is to spray the PAM on a washcloth, rather than directly on the CD itself.  PAM does leave a little oiliness behind if you don't rinse after using it for clean sticker residue, so once you get the sticker residue off, clean the area with a little dab or warm water, then dry and you should be good to go.  I personally use lighter fluid for cleaning stickers from cases, but haven't tried it on a disc yet (mainly because I wasn't sure whether that would ruin the disc).  I have used PAM numerous times and although it takes some patience and "elbow grease" it works great.
