a) they are out of stock...
b) they are not cheap enough for people outside the US...
c) they are not universal enough to fit (without modding) NES carts...
But the result is awesome. I don't know why Nintendo didn't use hard plastic cases just like Sega did.

The thing about UGC's are
a) they are amazing
b) UGC's go in and out of stock frequently
c) Our whole website is mainly focused on UGC's, which is another reason why (b) is always out of stock
d) there are alternatives (27mm DVD cases)
e) it takes no more than 30 seconds to cut the plastic out of a case to fit an NES game. I still don't understand why this is a huge issue on why people hate these cases? Once the plastic is cut, the game fits EXTREMELY WELL. If you don't like that "one" NES game inside the case, swap it out with another NES game. Problem solved.
f) They get the job done
Sounds like someone is a little ungrateful and is stating that our whole website is useless due to the fact they cannot get UGC's currently. Granted, it would have a hellofalot nicer if Nintendo used plastic cases, however they didn't. People are now trying to protect their newly acquired games (or vintage games they owned and realized they should be in better protection). If you don't want to spend the money, then your collection won't be too great. We provide an amazing assortment of Video Game scans that can be converted into whatever format you would like. Even if your paint/photoshop skills are not the greatest, you could always stretch them to work inside VHS cases if you really wanted your games covered cheap. $62 Internationally for 100 cases was steep for me, however I love how my collection looks. I understand that people like Arseen cannot get these cases this cheap, that is why he has taken the effort to research so much about 27mm cases for all you PAL people out there.

Don't get me wrong, I think UGC are awesome, maybe more than the retail boxes. They provide en excellent protection to games since plastic is hardest and will last forever.
Both ways are good options: using UGC's and reproducing boxes. The first demands less work since you only have to design 1 spine, and the second brings back that old feeling of buying the real thing. The best part is we all have a lot of options as you pointed out, and all are taken into account in TCP with raw scans and retail/custom edited covers to fit UGC (wich can easily be modified to fit other cases).
I love this site and all the the people that collaborates in here!

If it's the box template you want, then check out npes.free.fr - a french site that deals mostly with PAL boxes, though they do have a template for PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J (go to Divers->Section SNES->Aide à la retouche). To download anything you have to register, though it isn't that difficult, but totally worth it.

Thanks for the link; I went there and registered + downloaded the stuff, but I don't think it's accurate for some reason.
I feel like the USA template is missing the other half. The EU template was downloaded in the same zip file, which is the other half of the NTSC template that was given; however, the EU template is smaller than the NTSC one. I'm not exactly sure how to resize it. I guess I could always measure for sure, but then I'd have to dissect a poor innocent box. =[

Haha, this is true. I don't think any of those would be missed.
