The original Sega-brand adapter is huge though! Almost as big as the Genesis itself. I don't think any type of case will hold it.

Any chance you could do a cart label? Maybe stick with the Master System theme and use a Master System cart label as the basis (Reddish Brown) but make it Genesis cart label size?

Sure thing, link posted above ^^

True I keep mine in the original box, but for the adapter Bear78 linked to, it's a perfect case fit using the original boxart from the Power Base Convertor :)

Awesome!  Thats exactly what I was talking about!  Thanks so much man!

Just FYI, the converter works great on my Genesis 2 system.  It plays US, PAL, and JAP Master System games and has a pause button on it.  The only downsides is it will not play the card games (but most of those were released on carts anyway) and it wont work though a 32X.  Besides that, its awesome and a great way to play Master System games on a Genesis 2.

Also, because of the Japanese adapter that is on the back of it, it will not fit into a standard Genesis case.  I am going to try to mod a larger style EA case for it.

The link you provided is a bit confusing:

"PCB fit original Genesis/MegaDrive 16Bits cartridge, easy to modify original cartridge case to fit it."

Does that mean they just give you a naked PCB and you have to take apart a Genesis game cartridge and cut a hole in the top?

Also, can we get the cover for Genesis (as opposed to Master System, which the current white version is), in the black grid style?
