Requesting Out of This World for 3DO and Lunacy for Saturn

Pages: (1/3) > >>

Rydias:

I'm probably missing something, but I've been checking around and trying to find the proper way to make a cover request.  If I AM missing something, please let me know.

Moving on, I'm looking for a retail cover for both:

Out of This World--- for the 3DO

Lunacy--- for the Sega Saturn

I'm guessing the best format for both would be DVD as that seems to be the going trend for both systems.

I appreciate any help (or direction).

Arseen:

Enough correct way of requesting. :D

You would have high quality raw scans for these, as that would help cover makers.

Just realized that I have the European version of Lunacy called Torico that i could scan, if you want custom made out of it?
Here is mini preview of the cover front:

And custom version for Out of this World could be created from SNES version (either with US front or EU front)?

Rydias:

Online I've found a decent front and back for both games.

This is for Lunacy and it doesn't seem too bad.  My only issue is how will it look when smashed down to DVD size--I wasn't sure if there's an easy way to set that up, or if that's something the cover makers like to touch on.

For Out of This World, again, I've found some nice front and back images online, but unlike the Lunacy covers I found, I've got nothing to work with for a spine--which is a big thing for me.

Another issue with what I found for Out of This World is that both images have the Moby Games watermark.  This isn't a huge deal for me, but may be for others, so I think that should be left up to the cover maker.

Does that help at all?

sheep2001:

none of those images can be classed as decent - and will not be high enough quality for any of the cover makers to use for a permanent cover for the site. (it would NEVER be hosted)

Moby Games covers are always too low quality - and yes, the watermarks are a big deal (although pretty easy to remove in this case)

Rydias:

Hmmm...I was worried about that.

What steps should we take in considering a custom cover in light of the retail cover potentially not being an option?
