| What scanner hardware/ settings / software do you use? |

'sup guys. I wonder which of the above is true for you. As for me, I'm using a normal Canon pixma series multifunctional scanner/printer and I'm quiet happy with it, though I'm curious which equipment real pros use, and which software. Must it always be photoshop? |

If just print MS Paint is enough, basic editing also possible in Windows 7 MS Paint (older versions screw the DPI). Good first post. Hopefully the thing won't happen 4th time. ;) Probably won't. You know what I mean. |

For the hardware, I use an HP Officejet 6500 Wireless Multifunctional printer/scanner/copier/fax machine with the additional scanning software. For editing and design, I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS5. |
