Ok, One way to compress your movie collection is to double stack them in your shelf (if it permits), and the way to do it so you can see both movies in the space would be to place the front movie on its side in front of the one in back in a L shape, we used to do that with our VHS tapes back in the day, but DVDs and BDs don't permit such stacking, because DVDs don't have top labels. We'll here is a quickie solution, one that can essentially double the amount of movies we can place in our limited DVD space. DVD Top labels. Basically the idea is, a small sticker to place on top of the DVD case with the title, Genre, and format so you can place the DVD on its side and double your DVD shelving space. Here are some samples DVD http://www.box.net/shared/45f0sfko5ei17ps1yan2 BD http://www.box.net/files#/files/0/f/105678388/1/f_873872208 BD/DVD packs http://www.box.net/files#/files/0/f/105678388/1/f_873872596 Is anyone else interested in this project? We can do it for games too. |

I hate useless stickers, and this would seem to be more of a hassle. it's a good idea, but I don't personally like it ;) **Edit** The main reason I am weary about this is because say the case is two halves (which it is). You have to... open... the case to get to the disc, so you cannot *seal* the two halves together. And if you cut the label in half with a blade, then it's just silly in the first place to have a sticker there! |

But yeah, probably not necessary. |

If space is SO tight that you can't display DVDs properly then why don't you just put the disks into a flipbook and put the cases into storage until you are able to move into a place with more space? |
