Just wondering what everyone thinks of having PSN covers? I've been making my own using PS3 cases. Why? Well, it seems when people come over, they look at my wall of games to pick something to play and the PSN games get overlooked since theyre not there. Anyone else doing the same?

I thought about it once.. But I'm afraid the cases might get HACKED!..

LOL
If you have nothing to do... Don't do it here!

No, I don't see the point in making a cover for a case that will always be empty.  It would take up room I don't have.

There is a similar topic on DSi-Ware here: http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=6754.0

Some are for it, some are against. I don't see the harm in creating them as the covers themselves don't take up any physical room unless they are printed... but at the same time I personally wouldn't use them as I don't really have the space for it.

nothing wrong with the idea if its what you want to do  , ive started makeing cases  for my PSN downloaded PS1 games since i only play them on psp  i put them on their own mem cards each so there is a hard copy in the case its still rough as im not the best cover maker.

I like the idea and wish it takes off as I always look at my game shelf to see what to play and I end up forgetting about digital copies of the games I have. It's the sad reason why I rarely play all the GOG/Humble Bundle games on my PC...

I remember someone doing this for xbox live arcade games and i thought the covers looked great, i stopped using my 360 at that time and have moved on to PS3, but as im more into playing PSN titles rather than buying actual retail games it would be kinda nice to have slim blu-ray cases for psn titles, just to know and show what i have purchased. Lets hope we get a upgrade like 360 did where you can store you downloaded games on USB!.... prolly wont happen tho :(

I'm in favor of this idea. Was just thinking of making and printing a cover for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. Might do some slight customizing on Pain, Wipeout HD and LittleBigPlanet to show they're downloads.
I've made a SSFII Turbo HD Remix one already. http://www.box.net/shared/f4qc3q8v87njadig7hch

I think its more of an OCD thing of having all my games on display. I just know if I do go ahead and do this, I'll end up wanting to do the same with my Virtual Console downloads too
