I have one game in my collection that I bought from my local game store, which was Kirby's Dream Land.  Unfortunately for the cartridge, it's in a terrible state because the label is extremely faded and about more than half of it is torn and it's peeling on its own.  What I'm wondering is if there was a way someone can make a template for replacement labels for Game Boy game cartridges.  If so, that would be absolutely amazing.

Here's the badly unkept Kirby's Dream Land I got:

It would actually save you the trouble if a template was created in Photoshop and uploaded through mediafire or box.net and posted.  I have a print department I work in and I could print that out as soon as I get the chance.

If it'd be helpful I made some templates for GB labels a while back. Use them if you want.

Oh wow, thanks guys!  That's heavily appreciated!

Just one more question.  If I'm going to print these, what type of paper would be the best to use for this?  Is it a particular kind of sticker label paper or something else?

I tried an alternative method to sticker labels; I used 80# glossy text paper, cut the label with an X-Acto blade and applied some Super 77 spray adhesive to the back of it and stuck it on the cart.  It's not half bad at all.  What was a pain was getting rid of the leftover sticker material from the older label; I had to pry it off with my nail on my left thumb and used some Goo Gone to help wipe the remaining bits off.  It was troubling, but it was worth it.

Gladly. :)

As you saw from my previous image of what the cart looked like before, it was horrendous and in awful shape.  This is a major step forward; it may not be exactly the same, but it's just as good.

You ain't. Me no likey it neither, but it seems that editing the image to fit whole front without it looking mis-shaped is hard I've heard.

It is because the graphic designers who worked with those original labels had full access to the artwork of the original box art for the games, so it puts us at a disadvantage if we wanted to make a legit reproduction of it. But hey, what can you do.

EDIT:  Oh you meant the grey bar on the bottom of the case.  I'm not terribly disheartened by it.  As long as one likes it, then that's kosher by me.
