I picked up Xexyz, Heavy Barrel and Guardian Legend. I kinda missed out on the NES era when I was younger. I only remember owning smb/dh, ninja turtles 1, rbi baseball, kabuki quantum fighter, kirby, startropics and the mega mans. So yea...seems like imma be spending a lot of money thanks to your list lol |

Here's part 2 of my ongoing look back on the best of the best for the NES and Famicom. Here's #89-80. Hope you guys enjoy and maybe learn of some hidden gems! http://satoshimatrix.wordpress.com/2011/08/20/top-100-nesfamicom-games-list-89-80/ |

Sorry guys, I meant to have part 3 out by now but a delay getting screenshots is forcing me to put it back to tomorrow or Monday. |

Huh... I really thought Dunk Hunt would have been a bit higher on the top 100 list. But, to each their own. And thank you for including The Little Mermaid. I've always found it to be a little gem of a game that sadly gets far too often overlooked or dismissed as a girl's game (no offense intended to girl gamers). I anticipate the third and future installments of your list. |

The Little Mermaid isn't a girls' game, it just uses a licensed most associated with girls. It's the same was as Hello Kitty World for the Famicom which is merely a Hello Kitty branded version of Balloon Kid. Neither games are girls' games. |
