SM's Top 100 NES/Famicom games

Sounds good, but NES Burgertime isn't nearly as good as the GB version of Burgertime Deluxe, and Rambo is rather bad. Still give it a try. Maybe you'll like it!

I just thought I'd give you guys an update. The next part is about half done done and I hope to have it up by the middle of the week, if not by Friday.

Ya, NES Burgertime is mostly a nostalgia purchase (not that the game isn't fun). I am aware of the Game Boy version, but not that it's apparently better. Very interesting. Unfortunately, I find Game Boy games a lot harder to find.

I am aware of the many pitfalls of Rambo. We've probably all seen the AVGN video. However, I've always thought it was an intriguing game, and it also has some pretty good music. Plus, it was cheap. I've recently began playing Simon's Quest, and I'm really actually enjoying it, so I am looking forward to playing Rambo for myself.

I also went ahead and bought Boulde Dash, and am very glad that I did. It's a very cool game. I continue to look forward to your future installments, and hope that there are a few surprises in there!

Thats agreeable. Theres a buttload of awesome games for the NES and even as amazing as the Zelda series is, Zelda 2 isnt exactly the greatest. Now is the original Zelda shows up a little low in the ranks then well have a problem!

I put a lot of info on why I feel Zelda II should place, and given what I've still got coming I think you'll agree with my placement. and guys you're forgetting: this list is the top 100 NES games out of the well over TWO THOUSAND that exist between NES and Famicom. Narrowing down the picks isn't easy at all. The numeric rankings are simply my opinions; feel free to disagree but understand that nothing is placed without reason.

I really enjoy Zelda II, but I don't think the idea that there are 40 or 50 NES games I'd rather play instead to be at all farfetched.

 At the end of the day you're only making a list of "must have" games regardless of their rank.

I can easily think of 40 games better. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitively not a Zelda II hater.  There are SO MANY awesome nes games and i think that 40ish is a pretty good placement considering what is yet to come on satoshi's list.

Hey SM, how's the next installment shaping up? I think that your blog entry may be the most influential ever in terms of my purchasing of NES games. You've brought quite a few great little games to my attention, and I have yet to be disappointed. I picked up Mendel Palace today, so check another one of those games off the list!

How in all my life and research Ive done on the NES library have I never heard of Gun Nac?!? I want it!

I guess its not exactly a common game. Someone needs to pick up a complete copy of this so I can make a cover for it!

I went to the Toyota website and found that they do not have Toyota Estima model listed. However, I noticed that the Toyota Previa are of the same design as Toyota Estima. Are they the same?
