Shenske... you work at Gamestop?

Yeah for about 4 years. Up until the last 8months or so it was just part time complimentary to other jobs. I work in Northern Colorado

Well how did it sell in comparison to PS3 and 360? I would say at least 1/4 of my overall sales at my store are used PS2 being in a low income area.

Im an ex employee  but still talk to friends that working in my local area  gamestops  according to their DM gamestop is phaseing ps2 out just like GBA and older handhelds  so if there is anything you want i wouldnt wait to long just in case your local store is on the list sooner than others. this process will most likely take a long time to implement  cause every store i worked at had craploads of ps2 titles. most likely they keeping in the best selling areas and shipping them out of the lackluster areas inot the ones that still selling them well

Relocating product to store store that sell the product well is part of the phasing out program. I think the PS2 will have a very extended phase out since the games are still selling so well and games are still being made. I would agree with you though that if your local gamestop is phasing out PS2 it would be a good idea to get the games you want while you still can.

I don't like GameStop they throw away all the DS cases and manuals they get.
