| The internal battery on my Pokemon Sapphire has died. :( |

So he would have to change the battery with a bypass energy source to not loose everything. Could be a bit tricky but manageable! |

Or the battery is not dead but low on power so everything could be saved. |

From my understanding none of the gba versions of the game and crystal require the battery to save. |
