The internal battery on my Pokemon Sapphire has died. :(

Staf:

That makes Gold and Sapphire that are dead. Crystal is still kicking.

I went to check how many rocket launches there were on Sapphire (You get one rocket launch per week since you started your file. I got my game at US launch.) when I was met with the message "The internal battery has run dry. The game can be played. However, clock-based events will no longer occur."

Now when I talk to the rocket guy he just says "The rocket launch is imminent" instead of his usual "The rocket launched successfully! That's successful launch XXX". Now I won't get to see how many weeks it has been since March 19, 2003. :(

you could swap out the batteries on them. real easy stuff.

tiktektak:

Jup but that would still reset the rocket launches wouldn't it?

Gone already probably, unless there is minimally energy in the battery.
Does the game save still work?

Gamesave should still work but like it says, time events wont.
