no no, VGA is a company who grade video games based on how good of condition they're in - http://www.vggrader.com/

How do you get one in the package? I have a sealed Xbox game I want to get a protective case for it, do I have to send them the game?

But creating yet again another useless thread that no one cares about (only to show off what you own and brag about) isn't exactly participating to the supply of raw scans our site needs.

Double post, and I could care less about it.  It's nice how Shenske has a thread called "Shenske's Thoughts" that holds all of his random thoughts.  If each member created 10's of threads, nothing productive would arise.  That is why no one else posts useless threads.

If I was an admin, oh how I would love to create a "Kellybadry69's Thoughts" thread and combine everything into that one

i havent posted anything in almost 2 weeks so lay off quite being a complete asshole there are lots of other people starting more useless threads then mine kindly fuck off and leave me alone

No need for the language, just stating you don't need to brag about your VGA graded New Super Mario Bros Wii as we are here for mainly covers.  We are a community that provides a service (for free mind you) that restores and repurposes old cover art to bring new life into our favorite video games.  I understand that you are excited about your newly graded games, but damn dude... make one thread and stick to it... people will STILL read it...

*****************************************************

Your threads make me want to create my own just to prove a point.

Subject: What cool games have you bought lately?
I just found Bubble Bobble also Featuring Rainbow Islands for the Sega Saturn for $5, what games have you guys found recently for cheap?

Subject: World of power VG Book? Who else has?
I opened a box and found my Castlevania II: Simon's Quest book (created by F.X. Nine) and just wondered if anyone else has any of these world of power books?  Found this at a convention last year  :D

Subject: Edible Candy Wii Remotes at Target and Kmart $1!
great for collectors!

Subject: How many copies of your favorite game do you have?
Final Fantasy VII - Loved it as a kid!  I have 3 copies, plus an extra disc one, just incase one breaks!

Subject: Donkey Kong Board Game?!?
Dude, I just found this at the salvation army for $1.99! Old school Donkey Kong on a board game!!  Anyone else have board games like these?? Also have the teenage mutant ninja turtles  :D

Subject: How many games total do you own?
Just curious?  I think I just hit over 1,800  :o

Subject: How much have you invested in your collection?
Probably thousands for me, you?

Subject: What retro game (rare or not) do you NOT have, but want?
I have everything I want, but my collection keeps growing because the games I find are soo... damn... cheap...

*****************************************************

We are here for covers man.  Not small talk.  I am not here to brag, I am here to help assist in cover creations.  Request a cover, if we/I have it, we/I will supply it.  I'm not here to brag about my rarities or find out what other people like / dislike.  I'm here to assist in peoples needs.  And these pointless threads are really slowing down the production of covers.  Call me an ass, but again, I will tell it how it is.  This is how I feel.  Maybe I am being too harsh, or my words are coming across strong... but maybe you should just listen for once...

What's the damn point? Maybe a super rare game like Nintendo World Championships or Stadium Events.. but anything else? WHY? I buy games to PLAY not keep sealed! I mean I do collect rare games and stuff, but I'd never buy a game that I'd never play! Hell, if I bought Stadium Events for 2 million bucks (not that I ever would) or whatever it last sold for, I'd charge peoeople $1 a minute to play it. Besides that, I'm always looking for used games over new.

I must agree with shoothimnow because we have enough request post as there is, post like these just add to coverless threads. I'm not telling you to stop posting kellybadry69 I'm just asking you to do it in one thread (it does get bumped to the top anyways) instead of just milking what one thread could be and splitting it into 50 threads.

Hell if it were questions about a particular technique or help with a cover I'm sure nobody would have minded (if you keep it in the same thread >:| )

I'm also with you, I bought a sealed copy of Elder Scrolls 3 game of the year edition from Goodwill for 10$ and i was happy becase I have only 1 good game for the original X-Box (Half Life 2, or just Life if you do the math) and now I have another good game for the system. I was about to open until I found out it was worth 90$, I want to play it but if i open it, it gets devalued 60$ or so. I hid it to fight temptation.

Simple solution - sell the sealed copy for $90, then buy a used copy for $30.  Then, you get to play the game and keep the money. :D
