I've been lurking a lot on this board, and finally decide post!
First off, amazing job on everything here! This website is so great for collectors and non-collectors alike! Seriously, it's so great to see a community of gamers come together to help each other out for unified hobby!

Anyway, I guess my question is for Arseen. I thought I'd post in reply here, as it was relevant. Thanks for posting shots of your collection and the info about using double wide DVD cases for games. I finally decided to starting printing and casing, and chose the DVD cases as my way to go.
So I just have two questions for you. Sorry if this has been repeated. I've tried to search the forums but I feel like I see mixed answers from people.

Question 1: Which games do the double DVD cases work best for, in terms of fitting the cartridge and not having to modify artwork size?

Question 2: Do you think these DVD cases would work? They say 27mm, and look the part. If so, they are pretty cheap at 60 cases for $20.

Again, thanks for everyone's help, advice, and artwork on this site!

Glad I could help.

Answer 1: NES, SNES, N64, Jaguar, Genesis, so any cart game. They fit loosely, so if the rattling bugs you add piece of foam tho sandwich the cart in place.
I don't modify the covers I use, I just leave 5mm or 1/5 inch white strip to the bottom, but that's not absolutely necessary.

Answer 2: Should be fine, altough they seem to lack the clips to hold the manual. but once again you can use the same piece of foam you use to hold the cart to also hold the manual in place.
In case of NES you can also put the black sleeve that came with the games in there, it also holds the manual.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I suppose the rattling might bother me. But the games will be on shelves for the most part, so they shouldn't be moving around a lot. As far as the clips for manuals go, yeah that's a good point. Though it shouldn't be too much of a problem for me now as many of my games are missing manuals. It could be an issue in the future though as I'd like to collect or print out the manuals. Something to think about. Thanks again! I'm probably going to order these cases and get started!

@Doom:
No problem! What made you think I was a spammer though???  :P

Yeah, those clipless ones can be used with NES games, as only few have big enough manuals to take advance of the clips anyway.
Actually most of mine are clipless aswell.
