I just ordered 20 DS game cases form nintendo.com because I need some in prsitine condition for my GBA games. I just remembered, DS games come in those crappy white cases now with the recycle logo carved into them... do those still have the GBA slots? Or will I get the original style?

I got a set of 20 a few weeks ago, and they still had the GBA slot. I wouldn't worry too much.

If you buy 3DS cases, they only hold DS cartridges. The normal DS cases still have GBA slots.

Ah. Very VERY good. I can put my GBA games in there. I'll definately have to modify at least one to hold my  Boktai cartridge

i know maybe this is not the post but, i'm a little concerned about the modern game cases.

we've got UGC's for the old ones and we are not caring about the new gen console games, what will happen if
game cube cases become harder to find? i've been buying games and they come on dvd's or even worse, those stupid recycled white cases
that damge the cover and do not protect properly the cd /dvd inside.

anyone got any ideas about what to do with the GBA games if the ds cases stop being available?

The best way would be to make slim covers for DS games, order 3DS cases, put your DS games in the 3DS cases and put your GBA games in the DS cases you just emptied, also, by doing slim cases for DS it would increase your storage capacity by almost 2x

You can also put the GameCube discs in normal DVD cases, if you really have to. Also, I don't think the GBA slot will ever disappear from DS (not 3DS) cases, as I work at Blockbuster and the new Phineas and Pherb game on DS still has the same case.

ok, i guess that's fine for me. i still don't like very much the 3ds cases though. even if they are slim and can't stand up (haha), my broblem is the squared holes they have. i hope they change that to standard cases

I don't have a 3DS yet, but I think I hate those dumb cases too.
