Hi, i had never been interested in arcade games because most of the ones i've liked were ported to the nes, atari, or are available n xbla. but i've heard of some games and actually remember some that were fun to play but were never porte, and i guess are not available or affordable. i plan to ive them a try on an emulator to check out how they were. i live in Mexico so you can pretty much ony find street fighter and metal slug.

which arcade games do you remember as good ones? i got a recommendation for "ninja baseball batman" which only had 43 machines in the US. looks fun.

it doesn't matter the game genre, it could be a beat em up like TMNT games, or an old style one like DK or pacman. which ones obscure or well known would ou recommend me? thanks

Traverse USA used to eat alot of my money about 30 years ago!

These are all worth a go, and better than any ports that exist:
return of the jedi, vigilante, pacland, terra cresta, commando, virtua racing, kung fu master, driftout, (super) sidekicks soccer, crystal castles......

it seems i spent alot of time and money playing arcade games.........

ARCADE

The genesis it's good but the arcade it's PURE LIVE BEAT'EM UP ACTION!

i used to like the willow arcade game  which was a side scroller made by capcom

would be nice if some of the old arcade games were ported to new game systems but doubt that would ever happen

i would like to have the arcades, but i do not have a very big house and i don't think i could afford one anyways.
arcade games on xbla wii ware and psn suck because that's practically emulation with a cost. i can emulate
a game perfectly on a pc, the only complaint most people have is that they hate to play with the keyboard, but you
can just buy an average controller or 13 bucks at wal mart or whatever anyways, and configure it yourself (which ends up being
better, since control layouts form retro games are really bad, specially on the wii ware, A changed for B etc)

If I were you and you got the funds neccessary I'd go for a Egret 3 or if you are rich for a Vewlix as well. Those are really nice machines and you can put almost everything old and new in them (if you get both). ;D
2 + 3 = 23

there's one in sale in mexico, one of those that have tons of games inside. the list had all metal slug games, some street fighters and marvel vs capcom.
at least those are the ones that i remember, it has like 500 games. it costs like 500 bucks (i'm changing the currency). i doesn't take my attention since it looks more like a pirate arcade, but i'm no expert, so i can't tell the difference.
