hi, i recently bought a dig dug 2 cartridge, and i was reading that there were 2 versions of this game. there's the old and hard one
and the new and easy one. how do i know which version do i own without buying another copy?

That's referring to the arcade version. There's only one NES version.

i've googled it and looked for some info in youtube. still haven't found anything yet. i hadn't thought about seeing the arcade as the old version, now i'm confused.

No, no, no. This is how it goes. Dig Dug 2 harder old version- arcade, Dig Dug 2 easier new version- arcade. There were two arcade versions. The NES version is based on the 2nd version of the arcade game. Play Namco Museum DS to see both arcade versions.

ah ok, thanks. i do not plan o buy the arcade haha, but i was feeling kinda sad to get the simple version. i find it very very hard anyways

I've never even seen a Dig Dug II arcade machine. But I used to own a couple.of arcade cabinets. If you have the space, it's pretty cool to have one or two.
