Due to Shout Factory losing their license with DiC at the end of this year, they are having a sale of a bunch of the tv shows that they have put out on DVD for about $11.99 + S&H. I know I'm interested in The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog sets.

Adventures is the goofy one. But they also have the complete series of the other one, simply called Sonic the Hedgehog, also for $11.99. That's the one with Power Rings and the Freedom Fighters.

The epic series where fans waited and wanted a complete series for along time and finally got it in 2007, that was a good day, sad to see Shout Factory losing their licenses!  :(

I'm just guessing - but I'd say the license is just expiring and Shout! didn't think it'd be worth the cost to renew at this point.  Anyone who is likely to want/buy the sets likely has them by now.  I know I have all six Nintendo-themed sets. :D
