If i remember correct, the manual has a better pic than the box.  

OK, both manuals should be good quality to scan.
It's just that I reraky seem to got good quality scans from manual fronts.
Might be that I overscan.

And finally found good enough version of Super Adventure Island 2 to buy (cart+manual+box+poster).
Will naturally scan it when it arrives.

True, but my scanner can eliminate that.
If I tell scanner that I'm scanning something glossy it seems to turn down the intencity of the light.
But I still tend to get worse scans fron matte manuals than glossy boxes.

Maybe just use bigger font so no big empty space is left?

I tried that and I did not like how it looked, I might put a four screen shot there.

Just ordered CIB US copy, and while at  I ordered Mechwarrior 3050 CIB US copy aswell.

Will scan them as they arrive.

Mechwarrior arrived today, will scan it too, check back in 3.5 hours or so.

Scanning should be ready in half hour.

Yeah that would be great,

 the pic on the box is missing a little behind the mechs left arm.  I dont remember mine having a poster maybe as a kid I hung it up on the wall, or it got lost.

Oh and I thought i was done but I forgot that i still need Spider-man the animated series cover. Did you have any luck locating a vertical cover for that one? or even a raw scan would help?

You mean the text box is taking picture area. Yeah I think Manual had that part of image.
I'll scan it (+ whole manual) and poster today evening or tomorrow (remember time difference, Finland is GMT +2)

Should be somewhat easy to empty, convert to US and type the english text.
I can do the first two parts, text imputting you can do, my craptastic program (and skill) won't let me do shadows behind the text

I don t know what program he used to do the shadows behind the text. I ll have to play around to see if I can match it.  but converting it to english should be a snap.

I think he used Photoshop (which I don't have).
And simply chose add shadow option when adding text.

So want me to USAfy it and empty. I have empty US template image that I can use to cover the German text.

Okay on to my 64 games

Quest 64

Castlevania (64) all though the pal cover looks pretty cool

Cruis'n USA

3 covers, thats not to bad
