Yeah I have noticed.
They hit us hard when the ban triggers are resetted, it takes time to put them back.
AND NO WIDE BANS I KNOW  :P

That why still vote for manual only activation.

Judging from my postcount dropping over 100 posts and I talked with you a lot in you topics, I think not only your account, but your topics and posts were also permanently deleted.

And I know that I did not delete them.

Like I said, and have said many times before, I vote for manual activation of accounts. Would decrease our work load and clean accounts and forums.

you mean like "please click the link provided in your email from the email we just sent you" -- manual activation?

Or something like "please insert the numbers and letters from the automatically generated picture to prove you're human and not a bot". A lot of sites use that mechanism, it could work here as well :)

We have that, not working well enough.

No, I mean none of the accounts could be activated by new user alone.
Instead the new accounts go to a waiting list.
Few times a day Admins go thru the list of not yet activated accounts.
If account is OK, it would get activated, if not it would be ignored by Admins.
When the account has been on the list for two days, it will be deemed not worthy and deleted.

That would mean that it takes only one admin to save the account, but if none of the Admins trust the account it would get deleted.

have been back through my internet history, and am 99% sure it was not me.    I have however already deleted about 10 spammer accounts this morning.
