| Does anyone use Elements? |

| Phantom5800:
My new laptop came with Photoshop Elements pre-installed (and since I don't plan on buying the "real" photoshop, this is all I have). Sadly when I open any of shenske's templates in Elements each group appears as an uneditable layer, making the templates themselves rather useless ... is there a fix for this? I'd like to be able to use Elements even if it's just to make covers for personal use. Paint.Net doesn't do this, but it also takes up 2GB of RAM just to open a template and causes thrashing when I try to touch it, and it's far from a comparable program when it comes to features. |

I use GIMP to open the templates and re save as a psd, elements doesn't support folders in layers, I believe their are ways to get around this but aside from a bunch of un organized layers this has worked fine for me. |

Thanks, that works ;) I wish Elements supported folders, but it's still better than nothing. |
