Well, I basically had to use pieces-parts of other, higher-res images to build this up. The half-tones in the scan of the original label made it next to worthless, so I had to start from scratch. I left off the "N64" logo on the right hand side that was in the original image and made the ESRB rating slightly smaller than it was in the original, since they were both covering up the red Yoshi. This is what I came up with:

I cut the bottom of the frame off the front because of the shape of the image I was re-creating. I wanted to reproduce the label of the N64 cart as closely as possible, and once enlarged, if I had kept the bottom of the frame on the template it would have cut off a good 1/4 of the image. Just a design choice I made. I'd rather see more of the image than keep the template border in tact. ^_^

Pretty cool cover. Was it made by Rareware and published by Nintendo?

I don't think Rare was involved. I noticed "Rareware" was on the back of the template I was using. I've fixed it now so it doesn't say that. ^_^

Can't you just use the normal cover? As far as I know, every "Not for Resale" game is no different than the one that is for resale. Personally, for me, its like Greatest Hits versions. If I get one of those games, I replace the cover with a "normal" version.
