Ideal Materials (Plastic Types) for UGCs?

From what I've read here, the UGCs use PVC for the clear plastic wrap around cover insert thing.

What would be the ideal material to use for that, and what would be the ideal material to use for the case itself,
assuming the Case is solid black in color, and the outer slip in thing is clear?

Also, do you all prefer a smooth plastic sheet for the slip cover, or do ya'll prefer a textured one,
like the one that is on older Genesis Game Cases, or the one on UGCs?

I think I prefer clear plastic.

BTW: What is the point of this topic. Just curious.
Ansd if you figure this out tell me how to attach the plastic as I have been thinking of replacing the outer plastic for Doubled up DS cases.

i've always hated textured plastic on covers. smooth is the way to go.

Some Game boy Pocket and Game boy Advance games won't fit in to DS case, not even EU version, see Pokemon Pinball:
