Hi All, I'm not normally a big poster, but I came across this today and wanted to share the link for anyone else who might be interested. This place is selling a Brother Backster LX570 Multi-Finish Laminator (W/ No-Heat Technology, Cutter, & 10 Bonus Cartridges) for $19.99 + free shipping. I found it through deals.woot.com, and I've never heard of Ben's Outlet as a store, but the model seems just like the one mentioned in the label FAQ thread if not a bit better. Well, just got mine today! I got the maker with starter adhesive roll, then 10 other cartridges of misc type. My carts were: 1 Re-positionable adhesive 3 permanent adhesive 6 magnetic backed Gave it a whirl with a scrap and it seems to work fine to me. I was really hoping I'd get a laminate with adhesive backing cart, but I guess I'll just try to use a heavy duty gloss paper with the permanent adhesive, either that or look for a laminate/adhesive cart someplace else. Up next, refurbishing up a Link's Awakening cart! |
