I never bother to learn what games I have that are rare outside of this one:
Action 52 (Sega Genesis).
I bought it for $2 at a Hollywood Video back in '06. Unfortunately it's a loose cart and there are like no worthwhile scans of it anywhere to make a custom cover. Rare + loose, not such a good mix... :(
Moby Games has scans and the cover is simple enough to make a 1/2 custom cover, I'm good with low quality art and could make you one after some other covers im working on.

That would really be awesome Larry, thanks a bunch!  :D

I have Genesis Action 52 CIB unopened. Will scan it soonish.

:o Whoa, great to hear, thank you Arseen! :D

Tell me if there are problems with the scans.

Didn't scan the sides as the are only slide tones with the logo.

Looks great, thanks for such a quick turn around, and thanks again for the help! 8)
So as not to further veer this discussion off topic, I'll take this project to PM's.  :)

Just grabbed Skeleton Krew and Flashback: The Quest For Identity on Amazon for under $15 total (that included shipping).  Both games listed as in very good condition with original cases and manuals.

Not sure how rare they are considered, but I've been looking for good, completely copies of both for a while.

I don't think this is terribly rare, but I just picked up my local Gamestop's last copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy CIB. It was the very last copy and I know it's been out of print for a while now.

I bought MPT for $30 because the case was bad a while back, swapped out the case at work =D.  Seen it go for like $60-80 on Ebay, so good find non-the less.  It uses the gamecube emulator within the wii so people cannot "backup" it to a HDD or burn it to play, which is why it is so collectable.  That and its metroid =D

Got mine for $50 because I've got a friend with an employee discount. The casing is awesome. My Wii is packed up because I'm moving to college within a week, and I can't wait to play this, especially because it's Metroid. (and Other M wasn't very satisfying in that regard)

Is Legacy of Kain rare for the psx?  I picked mine up in a bargain bin for $5 bucks at Toys'R Us back in the day.  Best five bucks I ever spent. The first one was great all the rest were lousy.

Also got Suikoden for $10 bucks out of a bargain bin.  Been hooked on Suikoden ever since.

Just bought a 3DO Goldstar with for 20$ from Goodwill. I'm not sure if it is rare but I see it goes for around 100$ with nothing on eBay.

Nothing, must have forgotten to add that. But it uses standard AV cables like the NES and a hard wired Power cord so I was able to power it on and test it and it runs well and read the Doors album I put in it but was not able to lessen to it without a controller. Does anyone know any good games for it? I was happy to find it because most tag sales and Goodwills near me never have anything interesting other than a sealed copy of Elder Scrolls 3 for Xbox for 10$. I have gotten PlayStation 1s and N64s and seen around 5 or 6 Xbox's and some Genesis and Game Gear games for 2$ each. But tag sales mostly have PS2, Gamecube, and occupationally PS1 and N64 games. A lot of my retro collection was from friends, like my orange N64, Free, SNES, 40$, GBC, Free, GBA, 5$ and Sonic Riders, GBA sp, Free, and a bunch of games. Crap I just rambled.

The thing about 3DO is, the licensing fees were cheap and thus alot of stuff was slapped together and sold as games (like Plumbers don't wear ties). A few Notable 3DO titles are GEX (available on PS1), Street Fighter 2 (Almost Arcade Perfect),  Road Rash, Need for Speed (X-man goodness), Samurai Showdown, Captain Quazar (sh'mup), Myst, Out of this world (This should be at the top of your list, its Amazing), Return Fire, Star Wars: Rebel Assault, Way of the Warrior (A mediocre fighter, but it was made by Naughty Dog, so there is some history there). Wing Commander III, Hell.

Ok there are alot more then I thought. A good thing about 3DO is you can run...backups natively without mods, so you can...borrow a game and see if you like it, then buy it.
