Which Club Nintendo gift should I get?

I'm in North America, so my choices of gifts isn't that grand. I can't decide between the messenger bag, and the Mario & Zelda poster sets. I have 410 coins to spend so they don't expire before the end of the month. Pros and cons of each, go!

Id go with the Zelda poster set. No reason why its better, that's just what I would get.

Since you've got a fair amount of points, that Grill-Off game is actually pretty fun. It's good to play for a few minutes every day.

i finally joined club nintendo and after i got done registering everything i could for ds and wii i had over 900 points lol so i bought the game & watch vol 1 ds game : )

Coins do expire after two years. These are my leftover coins from 2008-2009. So far I've used my coins on a reversible pouch, the Mario 25th screensaver, a Mario 25th pin, and Grill-Off. I don't want to use too many of my coins because I am still saving, hoping that they add awesome things in the future. Otherwise I would go all out, but I figure either the bag or the posters would put me over but not too far over and still give me a decent item.

The first year I registered ~1200 worth of coins, the next year I did 600, and this year I did 600. I still have more games to earn coins with, but I want Platinum status each year.

ah crap!  just checked my account and i have lost over 4000 uk stars due to expirey.  Didn't realise they did this at all - what a con.  if i've earned them by registering a product i paid for then they should be mine, otherwise i would have left them unregistered and my games would be worth more cash.

Well if you have to get one, maybe the poster sets. Unless you don't have room to display them.

I already got the Game & Watch Ball and the Hanafuda cards which are the only 2 things I really wanted. That Mario pouch is an alright 3rd I guess. Hopefully they get more items for the next Club Nintendo fiscal year.

I just cashed in a bunch of my points 2 days ago for the first time and got myself up to 600 just in time for the platinum reward. Bought myself the 3 Zelda poster set and Im now gonna save up for either the game & watch ball reproduction or the two ds collections. Still have a bunch more points i havent cashed since i might aswell till the reset and get myself right back up to platimun again.

I just double checked my account and none of my points are set to expire. Looks like I spend my points too fast for that to happen. So far I've redeemed both of Game and Watch collections for DS and the Game and Watch Ball. None of the other rewards really interest me at the time so I think I'll try and hold out to see if they add another exclusive game (fingers crossed for Tingle's Balloon Fight ... very unlikely). Actually if could be wishing for anything to pop up as a reward; I'd love to have one of those snes controllers for the wii or a Virtual Boy collection for the 3DS. That would be awesome!

If you must get something I guess I would go with the Zelda poster set too. If you have the points though (beyond what is expiring) then I think the Game & Watch collection Vol. 1 is your best bet.

I'm saving up specifically for the Game & Watch Collection because it's a game only obtainable through the site.

I always need a new bag though, so I'd personally go with that if I were looking to save my points.
