PSOne Sound Problem

I have 12 consoles hooked to my TV all at once.  Among them is the PSOne (mini).  For some reason the sound comes in way too low.  I have tried swaping A/V cables and no change.  When I play any old-school system like the NES or Master System, I only need the TV volume on 15-20, but why do I need to crank it up to 40 for the PSOne?  Any thoughts?  It is bugging the hell out of me.

PSOne isn't an audio powerhouse and uses less power. Best bet is to get a fat ps1. So unless you find a 100x series you won't get full ps1 sound experience.

 Certain games could get worse... I noticed MTV Music Mixer for PS1 has MAJOR sound problems with ps2 and even worse on ps3

Is there a way I can mod the PSOne to put out full sound?  I'm still going crazy with this.

Just buy a Model 1, they are cheep and should give better sound, or a PS3.

But my NES, SNES, N64, NGC, Wii, Master System, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2 and PS3 sound great on level 15.  Psone needs to be on 40.  It isn't the tv.
