If you could post a picture of a NES or SNES game inside a case, I might be convinced to start using your method!

They fit loosely, I don't mind the rattling, as they don't move on shelf. ;)
Using foam would be good way to hold the carts in place, but I can't bother.

One bonus in using the DVD cases is that SNES and N64 manuals fit inside perfectly, as do those black NES cart sleeves.
Another plus is that if needed there are also triple wide ones, and some sizes in between.

And thanks, and that's only part of the collection, less than half or so.

Your collection looks awesome Arseen, are those the DVD cases that hold 8 discs? I found a place that in Canada here that sells them;

Would the cover art fit these cases ok? Anything from 25mm-28mm should work fine correct?

My cases are 27.1mm  IIRC, but 25mm might actually be better.
The cases are about 5mm taller than UGCs so ypu might want to strech the covers a bit.
I don't, I just leave 5mm strip of white to the bottom, but even that's not absolutely necessary, covers should look good even without that, but it's you call.
Otherwise the fit is spot on.
