The music is by Motoi Sakuraba from when he was actually interesting. I agree it is absolutely awesome.

:D
You mean you don't like hearing the same track in all your games?

"Could this be... an omen?!"

Wrestleball (NTSC/J)

...or Powerball in the U.S.

Chameleon Kid (NTSC/J)

Can you guess what this is the JP version of ? ;) Similar in design to the U.S/E.U cover but with more Japanese-ified characters.

Kid Chameleon (PAL/Custom)

Using the JP version as a donor.

...and a label to match.

Red Zone (PAL/E.U)

Well done to Time Warner for using minute white text on a red backround so as to make the back all but illegible! Brightened up the text and dulled down the red to try and let it stand out a bit more.

Found this scan in the raws section (scanned by EagleEye). Vector Magic cleaned it up nice, only had to touch up a few things. This is the european cover.

I just took a look at the cover and have to say that in my opinion vectormagic has destroyed this cover.

The screenshots on the back are pretty damaged, the text on the back is barely readable as is the legal info too.

VM would have been good for the front maybe but even there you have grayish dots everywhere...

I suppose a classical cleaning of a high res raw would look much much better on this cover.

Just updating some of my Templates and the Genesis one is first on my list:

http://rapidshare.com/files/349784538/template_segagenesis2.psd

This new version uses 100% vector based images converted for PSD use. Anyone interested will notice a new Sega Seal

New Genesis logo

and a redrawn Player #logo

these are recreations of the originals.

Also there are 2 versions of the spine.. original and a modification of my design, the original design is new to this template. Other than that I re-sized a few things to make them more in line with the original box art.

Please feel free to critique it, if there is something I should add or change about it now s the time to mention it. I am very sure the quality of the template is by far the best Genesis Striped on the site.

Hey guys, here's my newest, hope you like it.

I was thinking of taking the cover from this game and applying it to a SNES vertical template, however they are different games.

I am a purist so I was considering scanning the cartridge label of the SNES version at a really high quality (2400 dpi) and trying to make a cover similar to what the retail scan would look like.

Or should I just take the genesis version, apply the SNES vertical template and be done with it?

Thoughts?

Here's a couple of EA Sports games [and a Sportsmaster one]. I initially tried fitting them into Grumbleduke's Mega Drive template [I think it's his template, the grid one] but I couldn't be bothered spending too much time on the backs, so I've just cleaned up the retail cover and fit it to a UGC.
I'd like to clean Brian Lara Cricket up even more, by getting rid of the OFLC 'G' on the front, fixing the spine image, and removing the barcode sticker on the back, but I couldn't find another scan to use to do so.

Scanned and uploaded my Golden Axe 3 cover. Bought this brand new so theres no flaws on the cover. I didnt modify it or anything but it should be good just the way it is.

Not bad BadChad. Sorry for the pun. The only problem with this cover is that your scanner seems to be pretty crappy. There are lines all over the cover and the whole scan looks pretty grainy.

I fixed it up the best I could but bad source material is bad source material.

I havent really tweaked any of my scanner setting other than setting it to scan at 300dpi so Ill see what I can do to get better scans in the future. Thanks for the touch up. Like I said, I have photoshop but I havent really played around with it yet so I figured I could at least get this cover up since it was pretty good just the way it is.

Atomic Robo-Kid (NTSC/UC)

Responding to a request, it's the cover all Genny owners have been waiting for (at least one owner anyway  ;)). Total rebuild including the white quality logo, the TRECO logo and the 'ARK' title (that's a bit that differs slightly from the original). It would have been easy but for those logo's....
