Rastan Saga 2 (NTSC/J)
So after producing the fantastic Rastan Saga, someone at Taito must have sat back and thought 'how can we top that?' And THIS was the answer !?!
Its not fit to be mentioned in the same breath as the mighty Rastan...its pants...Cover art is quite nice though, shame they could'nt think of anything for the back. ;)

@Sheep
If you can put up the scans of the original box, that would be great as its non region and the ones i have done are very Mega Drive. ;)

Quick Question, not related to the previous posts...
Does anybody here have the game Earnest Evans? It's on Mega Drive/Genesis as well as on Mega CD/Sega CD.
I was "retro shopping" at eBay and the shop I was browsing had the game Earnest Evans. I never heard of it so I checked some youtube videos. It looked kinda decent but a little awkward. The soundtrack is awesome though, so I bought it. It was cheap anyway ;) My question is, has the game anything else going for it than a rocking soundtrack or is that its only quality?
After some research I learned that Earnest Evans is the first game of a trilogy with the 2nd part in the series being "El Viento" and the 3rd entry "Annet Futatabi". The third one is a Japan-exclusive Mega CD/Sega CD game though. The games seem to heaviliy borrow from other games like Castlevania or Shinobi, they look just ok but the soundtracks are really awesome.

I have a JP MCD version. I actually quite like it although i can see why most people dont. Earnest is animated in a similar way to those 'Gunstar Heroes' bosses (in segments) so he looks pretty odd at times and his animation gets in the way a little. The game plays llike Castlevania but not half as good. On the plus side, if you have the CD version coming, the music is excellent and it has the usual MCD/Anime intro. I bought mine very cheaply some time ago as it was in top condition and had the spinecard with it. I read up and was'nt expecting much, but it was better than i thought. Maybe it will surprise you...but expect it not to. ;)

The music is by Motoi Sakuraba from when he was actually interesting. I agree it is absolutely awesome.
