Does anybody happen to own Gargoyles or Turrican (not Mega Turrican)? I just bought them and they came in cardboard boxes. I would ike to put them in spare Mega Drive/Genesis cases, the problem is, scanning the Turrican box is not an option. In order to flatten it you would have to destroy it as it's not a SNES like box but rather like an old PC game boxes. The Gagoyles box is easily foldable, problem is, it's really beat up and I'm quite sure the scanning result would be a waste of time.

Would it be possible to scan the front and back of the Turrican box? You wouldn't really have to flatten it because it would likely end up in a template where a scan of the spine is kind of unnecessary.

Actually I can't. I have a crappy all in one printer/copier/scanner and the lamp in the scanner, or whatever it is called, is broken, which basically leaves me with just a sub-par printer. To be honest, the retail cover for turrican is butt-ugly and I don't like it at all I just thought that maybe someone here has it and could scan it or make a cover for it which would have been the easiest way to get the cover. If nobody has it, I might as well make a post and request a custom, as there's tons of great Turrican art on the net.

this is the retail box, the best scan I could find. This is not meant to provide a scan, I don't think it's usable. Just to show how hideous the cover is. And it's not even a joke like the Mega Man 9 "retail" cover, I think they really meant it

Will it fit in a MD Case? I seem to recall Ballistics carts are bigger than normal MD ones. Anyhow, if no-one else has cracked it, i will have a go over the weekend.

That's a good question, I didn't try it
If it doesn't then I'll give it the Sonic & Knuckles treatment, meaning cutting all the plastic holders inside the box, place the game in the middle and fill in the gaps with foam so that it won't rattle around

Well...here's a possibility. Took the original Amiga front as i thought it was a nice image. Put it in a MD skin although Ballisitc carts were region free i believe. If you Dig it Kaiser, we'll call it a wrap. If you would prefer to translate to German text, we can do that...or rather YOU can.
