Its not too bad actually. Its a basic platformer but has enough unique stuff to stand it out a little from the crowd. Pretty tough challenge too. :)

Where there even any Platformers on the MD noit challenging(or even unfair)?

I always have to think of Fantasia when talking about tough as nail games.... This game was not just tough it was mind crushing(or rather controller crushing).... ;D

Ooh yeh...Fantasia was a definate pad-smasher. But for the sake of sanity, never try to play Shadow of the Beast 2....Teeth-grindingly stupidly cheatingly hard..probably the worst MD game i have... ;)

Actually I played Shadow of the Beast 1 on the Engine some days ago whne I tested ma newly RGB-modded Duo.... That game isn't that easy either but rather fun to play....

  • ...and that's the bottom line
Shadow of the Beat is one of those games that I enjoy watching someone else play it and listening to the awesome soundtrack but I will never EVER touch that game again :) So freaking hard.

Hi guys!
I know some templates are still down, and can wait no problem for that.
But it would be pretty nice if someone could upload the MegaDrive 1 (pal) template (some temporary file sharing site like megaupload or rapidshare)!
I bought some cartridge only games (like ToeJam&Earl) and wanted to adapt some NTSC/US boxes for pal version!
Thanks anyway ;)
Keep up the good work guys!

First time really doing any cover, scanned this myself, used vector magic to clean it up slightly. Don't even know if there is a PAL release for this but I felt like doing it. Criticism is welcome! P.S., on the PAL cover I had to use extra screen shots and retype up the back. Good amount of work on the front as well.
EDIT: Wasn't released outside of NA, oh well I had fun doing it.

All our covers for retrogames are made for UGCs.....

Yes, I know Im asking about a post from 6 months ago, but I happened to be looking through this thread.

Whats the difference in size? are the UGCs larger than Genesis cases all around, or at least deeper to make fitting Sonic & Knuckles easy?

I think UGC's are a touch deeper than MD cases. Just re-sizing the stuff hosted here to MD case size (3165 x 1987) works fine most of the time for me.

The Lion King (NTSC/UC)

Converted from one of those cardboard boxes Ballistics seemed to love to release their games in.
