The one on the Double Hit cart is just plain ol' Micro Machines. It was the first version released for MD. I have'nt even started to think about casing my uncased MD carts yet so there is no hurry for the scan, but it would be nice at some time. :)

Castlevania : The New Generation RARE! (PAL/E.U)

Very rare release of Castlevania with the U.S cover. ;) I started messing with this ages ago but never finished it cos getting rid of the 'Bloodlines' bit stuck right in the middle was a pig. Anyhow, its done now and altered a little to match most other MD game cases.

This is beautiful!

- but I am getting more and more confused: are these for the Universal Game Cases or for the original Sega clamshell cases ? and where can I download them ?

All our covers for retrogames are made for UGCs.....

You can download them when an Admin had the time to add them to our database after quality checking... Although grumbleduke's work seldom needs improvement quality-wise.... ;)

The "Bloodlines" artwork is truly hideous, but you did an excellent job of cleaning it up and putting it on the PAL box, Grumbleduke. :)

I recently got access to a scanner, so I'm in the midst of scanning my collection. Among other things I should be able to submit 20 or so new Japanese MD covers (and I want to do some custom US/PAL ones too). Hopefully I should be able to start posting stuff in the next few days or so.

Nice work. I particularly like the columns cover. And thanks for the comments on Castlevania guys. I actually quite like the 'Bloodlines' cover myself  :). I will do a MD postup at the weekend. BTW if your reading this Tik,do the Zyron stickers that we have onsite fit MD carts properly?

I don't know exactly cause the Xyron sticker machines are US only I think(I always print my labels on wine bottle etiquettes ;) ).... Afaik those stickers you can make with the Xyron 250 machine can be up to 6,3cm wide and as long as you want.... For labels I would always choose Xyron 250 stickers in the admin field nothing else fits anyway.... :)

Castlevania The New Generation (Label Experiment)

Ok.. i know MD carts are not square but Imandix only deals in squares. ;) Its just a mock up to see how a label would come out anyway. I was going to convert the manual front too but as its bigger than A4, it seems a little bit too much trouble. Anyhow, if we think custom labels to suit custom covers are  a go, i will post it up. It fits a cart perfectly BTW...i tested it (but is there a fixed label size cos MD labels are smaller than N64 Xyrons we allready have and im a little fuzzy on the whole label thing.)

We have no fixed size for labels... Everyone scanning a label should take care that they fit on the cart they're intended to.... ;)

Nice additions - but the colours on the Battletoads cover (and to a lesser extent Empire of Steel and Cadash) look pretty faded. With some slight touch-ups it could look a lot better.

Empire of Steel and Cadash are not sunfaded they simply are not that vibrant... I suppose so at least cause I bought them from people which surely wouldn't let their covers get sunburned(other collectors which bought them new)....

Battletoads was really really fucked up and I allready restored it to a state which I never thought I could achieve.... Cover was torn with stickers on it and sunburned to a degree where the colors were butt-ugly-faded.... Unfortunately I wasn't able to rescue more color otherwise it always looked very edited and unnatural.... I agree although I'm not entirely satisfied with the Battletoads cover as well but it will have to do unless someone else can provide a better scan....

Gauntlet 4

@Jigsaw: Besides if you got any tips for color restoration in photoshop they would be more than welcome.... I always do it manually and that is not very easy to get the right colors....
