Today I wanted to make a cover for a very great but scarce Genesis game....

A very good game though the Turbo Duo version is even better....

My big problem is that the front of my cover is pretty washed out/sunfaded....

Has anyone got a better cover maybe which I can work with(grumbleduke? )?

All this started because i wanted to cover my unboxed Game Gear cart. Fixed up a so-so scan of the Megadrive version front for the GG UGC and DS case version, then thought i might as well do a Megadrive version as i had typed all the multi languages in. And as its not a huge stretch to convert to the Genesis version, i did that too. They are more or less as the originals, except i moved the barcode on the Genesis one from the spine to the back as it looked a bit crappy there (i thought so anyway).  Not going to do a GG U.S version though...nothing to work with.

Only got the U.S version myself, though the version we have for that is a pack in i believe so i will look at that at some point.

There's something to be said for the JP versions of just about all covers for all systems. Nice work. I was thinking about knocking up some cart stickers for the custom MD covers. Then i thought that if we were to reproduce the manual front with the custom art, we would have a total conversion (after a little work re-stapling it). Only issue with that might be people selling them on the bay as RARE versions. And if you dont want to make a U.S version of this, i will have a crack at it as i have a sort of old style template.

Knock yourself out - if you need them 600dpi scans of the Japanese cover should still be available in the RAW scans section, I think. I was thinking of making a US version myself but I'm not sure when I'll have the time to get around to it, and furthermore without the US retail cover to build it off of it's probably a little more work than I'd like putting into it.
