Hero's Shade:
I've been meaning to ask, what's the difference between the black and blue versions of the Mega Drive covers?

So it wouldn't matter which one you downloaded, if you had said game?

Depends on how accurate you want your cased games to be.... I for my part always download what's available so even if I got the PAL version and there is only a genesis version cover available I use the genesis cover as long as there is no other cover.... I replace it when someone or meself gets the PAL one up.... So it all depends on you...

I'm pretty sure the blue covers were just part of a re-branding and modernizing of the Mega Drive brand. I'm not 100% sure but I think the older style black grid type were phased out in 1993.
