Good news then.The black MD UGC template is almost ready to go and im working on the same thing but for actual MD cases.And yup..i picked up FIFA 95 locally for 95p!! Now its going to donate its case to Desert Strike .So MD cases are pretty cheap.

MMm quoting myself... .The Euro/Black template for actual MD cases is complete..tested and prints rather nicely. To the semi-trained eye (Mrs G and the little G's) its pretty close to an original. I have printed off 4 new covers using it to replace dog-eared versions and im happy with them.So if there is a place in the template section for it..i will put it up somewhere.

There is a place for the template. Either PM Shenske a link to your template and he'll add it or put it in the templates folder on the ftp and add it yourself. And maybe PM Snowcone that he adds a "Genesis retail case" option or something like that to the admin menu so that your covers can be added.

I talked to Snowcone today and he added the Genesis case option to the admin panel. This means we can host covers with the actual dimensions for a retail Genesis case now and you or Shenske can put the template in the templates section as soon as you're ready.

Taken from a rather excellent scan provided by Tik (it could have gone straight in after a little resizing and trimming). All i really did was stick it in the MD template for an easy life. (I will post it in your name if you like Tik...just let me know.)Made a version to fit in an actual MD case too.

When you upload any covers for the retail Genesis cases then make sure you put that in the name (e.g. rollingthunder2genesiscase). Otherwise it would be possible that the one who checks the cover before adding it to the site thinks it has the wrong dimensions and resizes the cover for UGCs.

This scan (given to Jigsaw who posted it here,i believe) was not quite flat to the glass of the scanner,hence part of the back where the jp text is was a little blurry.I cleaned up and replaced as much of the unclear stuff as i could but have to admit that some of the dark characters are a still little indestinct. It would seem a shame not to post it though as it does tick another box (meaning only Genesis version would be needed). An admin can give it a look when i post it for real.

Slightly obscure shooter with a nice soundtrack,especially the first level. Used to fire it up just to listen to it back then,when "chip" music could be astonishing.
