Here is a cover that I worked on for a bit today. I still want to go back and do a little more cleaning on it.  However, I wanted to share it with everyone here:

Before criticizing someone, walk a mile in their shoes. Then when you do criticize them, you will be a mile away and have their shoes.

I had scanned a box of populous for the Genesis and whipped up a quick cover for some to use in their cases:

Scanned a copy of my Monopoly box and created a cover from the scan.

@aaron-hagel Those scans (text / logos) look amazing, but are you scanning with the Descreen option?  It doesn't appear that you are, and don't want your awesome work to not get hosted on the site!  Something just looked really... off... with the Monopoly front and I think it may be because of either the saturation or the over abundance of Moire.  Descreen will remove that.

I did quick Gausian blurr test on the front image.

With some  additional fiddling the cover can be easily fixed.

Unfortunately my scanner has no descreen option.  I would have to use blurring techniques on it, however I feel like that would lose some of the finer points of the original source for the scan I made with them.  If I can ever get a new scanner with a descreen on it I would use that.  I could go back to the original scan and use some blurring on the original cover to remove some of the moire.

I went back and used some blurring on the image here is a new revision of the cover, however until I can get a scanner with software that has a descreen function on it blurring is the only option I will have:

Any reason you are leaving the thick horizontal line under the titles on these?

Lol - it still need the thick line, just not the flat horizontal that cuts the grid in half.  ;D

Here's one I needed.  Pulled the scan off of Sega Retro as it wasn't do bad.  Did a little clean up and it should be pretty good for now.
