New Genesis/Mega Drive covers....

Here is another one!  Picked up a boxed copy of Aquatic Games - Starring James Pond and the Aquabats.  The one that's hosted on TCP is pretty washed out.   I didn't noticed that the lettering on the scan in the rear was a little blurry.  I may re-scan after the cover has had some time to settle in it's new box.  It was pretty warped before scanning, so this is looking pretty good!

Here is a cover you can use to create your own.  I usually use these lower quality scans as a template for placement to replicate the retail one.

Cleaned raw would be awesome!   It's pretty simple to fix the spine for most EA titles, since the background is typically just 2 colors.  I bought a bunch of EA game cases to house the orphans, so I need to double check the spine sizes etc when I print since they are slightly larger.  The James Pond I just posted was a luck find.  I wanted the game, but there was no cover, since it's in a cardboard box it's hard to find a good box as well.. Found one at a game store, and when I was checking out the clerk stacked all the games up and crushed the cardboard.  GRRRRRR. Luckily it didn't damage the back or the front, just the spine a bit.  But I'm putting it in a case anyway, so it didn't really matter as long as I could get a good scan!

What a pain in the rear.. I was trying to make you a Mega Drive cover, but short of CS6, it's REALLLLY hard to get the title on the front to stroke/outline with sharp edges.  I took some time to crop it all out and it looks like crap.   Hopefully a better scan would make it much easier!

Pretty sure I made a megaDrive cover for my cart.  Not sure I'll have time to look in the morning, as in the afternoon I'm off to Portugal for a few days.  If I get a spare 5 minutes I'll dig out the psd.

i did it some time ago, and the front cover image could do with replacing, but you should be able to use the rear text, and the logos at a minimum.
