Found doesn'T sound good. It needs to be at least 300dpi, descreened, colorful and as sharp as possible.

Sometimes "found" is better than nothing. I "found" a few scans on the internet that were miraculously turned into decent covers. But I agree, it's best when we can find the real thing. ;D

First of all I understand that you guys are very critique, though I want to say I do this in my free time and to be honest, I find the presentation/form of the sharp critique sometimes not that motivating. Perhaps it's just me, perhaps not, I wanted to give you guys this feedback.
Anyway, I am making the cover originally for a friend who get the Puggsy game for his birthday, so posting it to you guys is for me an extra and a tribute to the developers of Puggsy! Below a sample for the previous puggsy cover quality, the second is the new scan i found, the third is cleaned up. Is this resolution good enough for thecoverproject.net standards?
Perhaps making a page on the homepage with clear examples of quality issues you accept and what not. Makes it much more easier.
Cheers

Yeah we can be bit sharp, but we have found out that staright honest unsugarcoated critisism works best in guiding people towards the quality level we want.
Take as promising sign when we critique.
Most time if cover goes uncritizised iit means we thin it's beyond hope, and not worth our attention.

True they could need some updating.

If the lowest image is 300DPI AND correct size, it would probably be accepted with some additional tweaking, same goes for the middle one.
